Drama Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Drama Therapist to join our team at Reasons Eating Disorder Center. As a Drama Therapist, you will work with patients to help them express and process their emotions through drama and creative activities.

• Teach patients the use of drama and creative activities to express and process emotions
• Provide group opportunities for patients to tell their stories, solve problems, and express feelings
• Utilize drama and creative activities to achieve therapeutic goals
• Work with patients to develop coping skills and strategies for managing emotions

• Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program in Drama or Acting and/or status as Drama Therapist Intern or Registered Drama Therapist preferred
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, drama, acting, activity therapy, humanities, social work, or related therapeutic discipline
• Two years of experience in Drama Therapy
• Registered as a Drama Therapist preferred
