As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect construction work to ensure conformance with contract plans, specifications, and industry standards.
- Track work performed, prepare detailed reports, and advise on Change Order negotiations.
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review and approve submittals for contractor-furnished materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of construction progress, including as-built data and submittal logs.
- Identify and report non-compliant work, and ensure corrective action is taken.
- Perform preparatory phase, initial phase, and follow-up phase inspections on established definable features of work.
- Ensure that all applicable tests and observations required by the contract are performed.
- High school graduate or equivalent, plus five (5) years' experience in heavy civil project inspection and related Airfield construction Inspection.
- Possess excellent communication and writing skills to report on progress and outcome of technical assignments.
- Have general knowledge of safety and occupational health principles, practices, procedures, laws, and regulations.
- Hold a current, valid US State driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record.
- OSHA 10 certification is a condition of employment.

Work EnvironmentWork is frequently performed in a field environment with consistent exposure to potentially unpleasant working conditions. Incumbent must be available to work nights and weekends, have the ability to stand and sit frequently, and reach horizontally as well as vertically for overhead use. Work frequently requires working at client's job site, construction trailer, and in a field environment. Work may sometimes require working in inclement weather, working in a construction site, being exposed to heavy construction equipment, and doing extensive walking.
