Position Overview:
We are seeking a Corporate Financial Analyst to contribute to our financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess robust experience in budgeting and forecasting. This role provides a flexible work schedule and a comprehensive benefits package. The selected individual will collaborate closely with senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Focus on forecasting, data management, and leading initiatives that enhance corporate value and improve reporting capabilities for informed decision-making.
  • Provide recommendations and implement new systems as necessary.
  • Support the monthly financial reporting process.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or management accounting, preferably in sectors such as mining, construction, or heavy equipment.
  • Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, primarily using Excel.
  • Experience in analyzing and reporting budget versus actual results.
  • Familiarity with accounting practices and the monthly closing process.
  • Knowledge of cost analysis and cost accounting is advantageous.
  • Experience with Sage accounting software or other accounting systems is preferred.
  • Proficient in DataRails or similar Excel-centric database systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
