Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated individual who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks that support our clinical staff and ensure smooth operations within our healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist patients and visitors with a friendly demeanor.
- Gather and verify patient and insurance information, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Input patient data accurately into our systems.
- Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and relay messages effectively.
- Facilitate patient care activities within the scope of administrative functions.
- Handle payment collections and address inquiries regarding insurance and medical services.
- Maintain clear and compassionate communication with patients, families, and team members.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support the clinic's operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a medical office setting is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and office procedures is preferred.
- Proficient in computer operations and data entry.
- Prior experience in a patient-facing role is beneficial.
- CPR certification is a plus.
Additional Skills:
- Ability to greet patients warmly and handle phone inquiries professionally.
