The role of the Service Line Sales Specialist (SLS) involves a passion for identifying, pursuing, and successfully closing opportunities within designated industry sectors.
The SLS will provide profound expertise in one or more of the Digital Business & Technology (DB&T) practices or business areas, supporting Cognizant's client account teams in their vertical market strategies and expansion initiatives. Typically, SLS professionals are aligned with existing markets, although some may also explore new logo opportunities.
As a Service Line Specialist, you will act as a "trusted advisor" to both clients and Cognizant Client Partners, merging strategic insight with practical sales experience.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth for DB&T and designated industries.
- Expand the sales pipeline through existing accounts and, when appropriate, new logo accounts.

- Assist in proposal development in collaboration with bid management and solution architect teams.
- Identify early renewal opportunities that can lead to transformative client discussions.
- Salesforce Expertise - Proficient in multiple Salesforce Clouds, including Sales, Marketing, Service, and Commerce.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT services and sales within large enterprise organizations.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
