Job Summary:

Patriot CDJR Pryor is seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to perform a wide range of automotive maintenance and repair services on various makes and models of vehicles.

As a Service Tech, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems.

You will utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems, ensuring all repairs are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

This is a full-time, flag hour position in the auto industry, with a competitive pay of $26 to $32 per flag hour.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems
  • Ensure all repairs are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Communicate with Parts Department and Advisors about vehicle issues and recommendations for repairs
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all services and repairs performed
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and development opportunities

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • 1+ years of experience as an automotive service technician
  • ASE certification or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to pass a background check
