Perioperative Nurse

RGH - Global Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team at Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood. As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

• Deliver Safe Patient Care: Provide safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in the operating room, gastroenterology lab, and other perioperative services.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure positive patient outcomes and deliver patient-family centered care.
• Provide Direct Nursing Care: Deliver direct and individualized nursing care, utilizing scientific principles and applying best practices to a wide range of health conditions.
• Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to committee activities, surveys, and improvement initiatives to continuously enhance the quality of care.
• Maintain Professional Standards: Adhere to the standards of the Texas Nurse Practice Act and maintain a professional, safe, and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (AD) required.
• Licenses/Certifications:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
• BLS Certification: Basic Life Support certification required before initiating patient contact.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS): ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification: NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 90 days of hire.
• PALS or ENPC Certification: PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification required within 6 months of hire.
