Our San Francisco office, once used to build ships during World Wars, serves as our headquarters.

Our satellites operate from geostationary orbit (GEO), weighing only 400 kg and utilizing a proprietary software-defined radio payload. Each satellite can connect over two million people, with upcoming projects in the Philippines, Peru, Mexico, and more.

Astranis offers hourly internships for students currently enrolled at a four-year university. These twelve-week roles provide an opportunity to work on challenging projects, contributing to meaningful work regardless of seniority. Past interns have designed and tested hardware/software heading to space on our first satellite, with many now full-time employees.
