We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Red Rocks Center in Gallup, NM. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive clinical environment.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing centers and assisted living facilities. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver efficient and effective nursing care to patients, achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
  • Evaluate patients to collect data, observe condition, and report changes in condition.
  • Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
  • Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing and be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure. Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred, and you must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
