Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Licensure: Current Ohio RN Licensure. Training/Experience:
  • Minimum one year of experience in obstetrical/neonatal care preferred.
  • Familiarity with Patient/Parental Rights during perinatal crises.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong listening and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge in care practices in the postmortem state.
  • Effective coping strategies in situations involving death and dying.
  • Excellent customer relations skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support during perinatal crises.
  • Advocate for and educate families and staff.
  • Act as a public relations representative for the program and the healthcare system.
  • Organize and lead remembrance initiatives for families experiencing perinatal loss.
  • Conduct parent support group meetings on a regular basis.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills.
