Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Licensure: Current Ohio RN Licensure. Training/Experience:
- Minimum one year of experience in obstetrical/neonatal care preferred.
- Familiarity with Patient/Parental Rights during perinatal crises.
Essential Skills:
- Strong listening and communication abilities.
- Knowledge in care practices in the postmortem state.
- Effective coping strategies in situations involving death and dying.
- Excellent customer relations skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support during perinatal crises.
- Advocate for and educate families and staff.
- Act as a public relations representative for the program and the healthcare system.
- Organize and lead remembrance initiatives for families experiencing perinatal loss.
- Conduct parent support group meetings on a regular basis.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills.
