Job Summary:

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team in Oregon City, Oregon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic vascular procedures, utilizing knowledge and skills to evaluate blood flow in vessels and image blood vessels.
  • Communicate effectively with vascular surgeons and radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Assist with patient transport and manage exam rooms to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Review exams, restock supplies, and maintain quality assurance standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two-year JRCERT-approved program in diagnostic medical sonography, including ARRT certification and state licensure.
  • Successful completion of one year of ultrasound training and certification, or two years of allied health experience with certification in ARDMS.
  • Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of recent experience in a vascular lab department.
  • Understanding of vascular lab services, workflows, and special procedures, including interventional protocols.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
