About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class B Delivery Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely driving trucks to customers and meeting scheduled delivery times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Management: Manage your schedule to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by verifying accuracy of delivery and obtaining proper signatures.
  • Product Handling: Carefully unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid CDL Class B issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to read and communicate in the English language, comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
