HR Generalist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our HR team in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have experience with ADP or equivalent HR Payroll systems.

• Design and conduct new hire orientation and training programs for the leadership team.
• Perform payroll functions, attendance tracking, and onboarding.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with supervisors, managers, and employees.
• Administer benefits plans and programs, including annual open enrollment meetings and employee education.
• Plan and participate in employee events, philanthropy efforts, and wellness programs.
• Manage the applicant tracking system.
• Research and serve as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations.
• Review employment applications and prescreen applicants to match candidates with job requirements.
• Perform pre-employment processing, including applicant testing and background checks.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Proficiency in ADP system.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask and adapt to changing demands.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of human resources experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.

The HR Assistant will work in a non-climate-controlled environment with occasional exposure to ambient air temperatures. The position requires the ability to bend, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 25 pounds. This is a safety-sensitive position.
