About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Wendover Management, LLC. As a key member of our property management division, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our communities, providing exceptional experiences for our residents, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of community grounds, amenities, and buildings, including the leasing office, common areas, parking lot/garage, and other community buildings.
  • Remove trash from office areas and community perimeter daily and from trash chutes to compactor daily or more.
  • Prepare make-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments, prior to make-ready.
  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
  • Clean available apartments and/or models.
  • Troubleshoot/repair mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems, including HVAC.
  • Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Property Manager.
  • Maintain the curb appeal of the community.
  • Assist office personnel with other various tasks required.
  • Assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, etc.
  • Maintain overall organization and cleanliness of work areas and maintenance shop.
  • Report to the Property Manager.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience is preferred.
  • Light carpentry, drywall repair, and texture; painting.
  • Computer literacy is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Outstanding customer service and embracing a shared responsibility environment.
  • Must be fully vaccinated and be able to provide documentation upon hire or be able to provide a completed request for a medical or religious accommodation.
Working Conditions/Environment/Physical Demands

The Maintenance Technician position is a full-time position; may be called upon to work after hours and on weekends. A rotating on-call schedule may be required. Working conditions will be outside as well as indoors. Physical demands will require but not be limited to the mobility to effectively complete job requirements.
