Job Description

**About the Role**

The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring a smooth, safe, and efficient production process. This includes maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily production and develop production schedules to meet business objectives.
  • Plan, direct, and assign duties of manufacturing personnel to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Authorize overtime as necessary to meet production goals and analyze data to detect and prevent production issues.
  • Intervene on the production floor to address issues in real-time and prepare production figures for daily meetings.
  • Troubleshoot and solve production problems, manage production issues, and report crucial process problems to the Plant Manager and Directors.
  • Oversee the Production Department, ensuring efficient shift hand-over and feedback of past shift performance, and prepare shift schedules.
  • Provide continuous feedback culture with all production team members, perform annual Performance Evaluations, and assess training needs of staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-year Degree (Associates) in a related field or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a management position in production, preferably within the plastics industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of manufacturing and IT, with excellent knowledge sharing and training skills.
