Behavior Technician Role at Centria Healthcare

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at Centria Healthcare. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans for children with autism, under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills to children with autism.
  • Work one-on-one with children, using patience and compassion to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to children and their families, promoting a sense of community and understanding.

Requirements:

  • Passion for helping children with autism reach their full potential.
  • Patience, compassion, and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test (if not already completed).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Candidates must obtain a RBT Certification from the BACB.
  • Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.
