Patient Care Technician

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a skilled Patient Care Tech to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas.
Job Summary:The Patient Care Tech will provide high-quality patient care and support services to our patients and families. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care and support services, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
- Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic life support certification required.
