Pharmacist in Charge Job Description

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist in Charge to lead our clinical operations team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Filling and distributing prescriptions to patients in a timely manner
  • Reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy and suitability
  • Providing information and advice on drug interactions, side effects, and proper medication storage
  • Monitoring patient health and progress to prevent harmful drug interactions
  • Maintaining confidential computerized records of patients' drug therapies
  • Ordering and purchasing pharmaceutical supplies and medical equipment
  • Analyzing prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Three (5) years of prior pharmacy experience
  • Valid and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state(s) of practice
  • Registered with the applicable Board of Pharmacy and in good standing
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license
