We are seeking an experienced Energy Performance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-performance building energy modeling and sustainability analysis to clients. You will work closely with our team to drive decarbonization efforts and provide guidance on energy compliance issues and data-driven decision making.

• Whole Building Energy Modeling: Utilize IES-VE to create detailed energy models of buildings and identify opportunities for energy efficiency.
• Energy Efficiency Measure Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of energy efficiency measures and provide recommendations to clients.
• Net Zero Energy/Carbon Road Mapping: Develop and implement strategies to achieve net zero energy and carbon emissions for buildings.
• Green Building Certification Support: Assist clients in achieving LEED, WELL, and other green building certifications.
• Renewable Energy Analysis: Conduct analysis of renewable energy options and provide recommendations to clients.
• Incentive and Rebate Program Support: Assist clients in securing incentives and rebates for energy-efficient projects.
• Electrification Consulting: Provide guidance on electrification strategies and opportunities for buildings.
• Life Cycle Cost Analysis: Conduct life cycle cost analysis of energy-efficient projects and provide recommendations to clients.
• Energy Auditing: Conduct energy audits of buildings and identify opportunities for energy efficiency.
• Understanding of Local and National Energy Codes and Policies: Stay up-to-date on local and national energy codes and policies and provide guidance to clients.
• Consultation on Sustainability Strategies: Provide consultation on sustainability strategies, energy efficiency measures, innovative technologies, and voluntary rating standards.
• Develop Energy Strategies: Develop energy strategies for projects relating to high-performance HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and electrical/lighting systems.
• Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date on new and existing tools, sustainability strategies, and energy efficiency measures.

• Ability to Read and Review Architectural and Engineering Drawings: Ability to read, review, and evaluate architectural and engineering drawings and visualize three-dimensional models.
• Familiarity with Design Tools: Familiarity with design tools such as Revit.
• Basic Understanding of Proper System Selection and Applicable Building Codes: Basic understanding of proper system selection and applicable building codes.
• Knowledge of LEED and WELL Design Principles: Knowledge of LEED and WELL design principles, LEED accredited, and WELL accredited or on track to achieving accreditation standards.
• Strong Communication Skills: Strong communicator, both written and verbal.
