Job Summary:

Genesis Consulting Partners, LLC is seeking an experienced DevOps Coach to help our clients modernize and expand their DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and DevOps, with experience in designing and implementing end-to-end continuous delivery pipelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The DevOps Coach will provide coaching services to support our government clients, analyzing current technology and providing recommendations for improvements. Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing current technology and providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Assisting developers and engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions.
  • Working closely with development and engineering professionals to maintain infrastructure and software required for products to be continually delivered effectively.
  • Mentoring and training other developers and engineers throughout the agency and seeking to continually improve processes.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of software engineering and DevOps experience, with a minimum of three years of management or coaching experience. Must have experience in designing and implementing end-to-end continuous delivery pipelines, as well as AWS cloud experience in a production environment. Strong experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code is also required.

Education and Certifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or Engineering is required. Agile Certification is required, with SAFe Certification and Technical Development certifications preferred.

Other:

The candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
