Job Summary:

The Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) is responsible for providing medical care to women relating to pregnancy or childbirth. This role involves treating, testing, diagnosing, and monitoring diseases and providing general care to women.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide care and treatment to women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.
  • Diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases, disorders, and conditions.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications to treat patients in accordance with standardized procedures and company policy.
  • Perform pap smears, pelvic and breast exams.
  • Conduct mood and emotional well-being assessments during post-partum appointments.
  • Collaborate and consult with other medical and non-medical personnel.
  • Effectively monitor patients' progress throughout treatment plans and care, providing continuous improvement on patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients on the importance of treatment plans and communicate side effects and risks of medications prescribed.
  • Educate patients on disease prevention and reproductive health.
  • Demonstrate effective and detailed written documentation skills.
  • Conduct routine check-up appointments and maintain follow-up throughout patients' care.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication with patients.
  • Able to multitask and manage assigned projects and tasks as directed.
