CT Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Southern Regional Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners and X-ray machines to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for CT scans and ensure they are properly positioned on the CT table.
  • Operate CT scanners and X-ray machines to obtain images of targeted body parts.
  • Monitor patients' comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
  • Assist radiologists in interpreting images and administering contrast agents.
  • Maintain quality assurance of CT scanners and X-ray machines.
Requirements:
  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment required.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
  • Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
  • CT ARRT Certification required.
