Position Overview:
  • Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure optimal and secure procedures
  • Execute advanced responsibilities across multiple surgical disciplines
  • Oversee and guide the daily operations of surgical technicians
  • Aid in upholding a sanitized and secure surgical setting
  • Engage in the training and development of new staff and students
  • Accountable for the sterilization of instruments and the appropriate use of equipment
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource for fellow team members
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at cost management
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited surgical technician training program
  • At least 4 years of experience in an Operating Room environment
  • In-depth expertise in a minimum of three surgical specialties
  • Current CPR certification is mandatory
  • Possession of Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Technologist Surgery Certified (TSC) credentials
  • Proven track record of exceptional performance evaluations
Licenses and Clearances Required:
  • CPR certification in accordance with AHA standards
  • Clearances under Act 31, 33, 34, and 73
