Electro Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electro Mechanic to join our team at Genpak LLC. As an Electro Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our production equipment, ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems, using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment, such as drill presses, welders, and hydraulic presses.
• Complete production line changeovers based on production requirements.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment.
• Assist in the installation and testing of new equipment.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in electrical or mechanical repair preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in maintenance and repair of production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, including circuit analysis and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on safety and quality.

The Electro Mechanic will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with exposure to various types of production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. The position requires the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in areas with loud noise levels. The Electro Mechanic must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
