Market Development Agronomist Internship

WinField United is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Market Development Agronomist Intern to join our team for the summer. As a Market Development Agronomist Intern, you will contribute to advancing our seed and crop protection products by conducting research and analysis, collaborating with your local team on your project, and supporting the MDA and sales team with agronomic insights that aid sales execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analysis to advance our seed and crop protection products
  • Collaborate with local team on project and provide agronomic insights to support sales execution
  • Support MDA and sales team with agronomic expertise
Requirements:
  • Sophomore or Junior undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor's in Agronomy, Crop & Soil Science, Ag Systems Technology, Digital Agronomy, Agriculture, or related field of study
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Interest in pursuing advanced degree in Agronomy, Crop Sciences, or related field
  • Interest in technical agronomy and becoming a subject matter expert
  • Prior experience in sales or ag retail, with a focus on customer interaction
  • Familiarity with the ag retail system
