Job Summary

Market Basket Foods is seeking a skilled Floor Maintenance Associate to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our store floors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strip and refinish floors to maintain a high-gloss finish
  • Perform heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, and washing walls and glass
  • Remove rubbish and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Perform routine maintenance activities to ensure the longevity of our floors
  • Notify management of any maintenance needs or repairs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent cleaning and maintenance skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies
