Job Summary:

As an Assembly Technician at OMEGA Engineering, you will be responsible for operating automation equipment and machinery safely and efficiently. Your tasks will include testing components and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met, preparing materials for installation, and adjusting, repairing, and modifying equipment as needed. You will also identify problems with equipment and components, report and communicate metrics clearly, and work collaboratively with a diverse team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate automation equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Test components and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met
  • Prepare materials necessary for installation and utilization by automation machinery
  • Adjust, repair, and modify equipment as needed
  • Identify problems with equipment and components and report and communicate metrics clearly

Requirements:
  • Ability to adapt to business needs and work in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and work over equipment for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to follow instructions and process machinery, equipment, and materials
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and metric conversions
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. individually or 50 lbs. via team lift
