Compensation: The hourly wage for this role is $22, depending on experience.

About Hotel Colorado: Since 1893, Hotel Colorado has been renowned for its exceptional hospitality. We have recently completed a significant restoration project, enhancing our meeting and banquet facilities, and are currently undergoing further renovations to upgrade all guest accommodations. As the only full-service hotel in Glenwood Springs, we offer comprehensive dining options, catering services, and facilities for events ranging from small gatherings to large conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests and manage check-in procedures, ensuring all necessary information is accurately recorded.
  • Address guest inquiries both in person and via phone with professionalism and courtesy, providing information on hotel services and local attractions.
  • Assist guests in fulfilling their needs to ensure a pleasant stay, including making reservations for dining and entertainment.
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues with sound judgment, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Handle internal and external phone calls, ensuring messages are accurately relayed to guests.
  • Manage reservations for future guests, ensuring all policies regarding cancellations and guest information are clearly communicated.
  • Facilitate the check-out process, including bill computation and payment collection.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Stay informed about hotel amenities and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks, including filing and record-keeping.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
