About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Developmental Specialist to join our team of pediatric specialists. As an EI Developmental Specialist, you will partner with families to identify each child's strengths and developmental needs. Together, you will develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) that addresses the child's unique requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a transdisciplinary team on program planning and delivery of services
  • Oversee case management and referral services for assigned caseloads
  • Conduct home visits to provide developmental stimulation, parent training, and support
  • Facilitate parent/child and/or child groups
  • Complete reports of assessments, progress reports, IFSPs, and discharge summaries
  • Maintain appropriate communication with physicians, clinics, and community agencies participating in each child's care
  • Provide information to parents enabling them to make informed decisions for their child's progress

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in one or more of the following fields: infants and toddlers, child development, education, or psychology
  • 300+ hours of experience working with children under 5 years old
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
