Renal Care Specialist

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a skilled Renal Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and support to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment
  • Administer and monitor dialysis treatments in accordance with current treatment plans or as directed by supervisors
  • Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters on dialysis flow sheets
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and support
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN)
  • Current appropriate State licensure
  • One year medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
  • Hemodialysis experience preferred but not required
  • Successfully complete a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis
  • Successfully complete CPR Certification
