Job Summary

The Kentucky Community and Technical College System is seeking qualified candidates for Adjunct Instructors to teach various industrial maintenance and engineering technology courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses, maintaining office hours for student mentoring and coaching, and utilizing a learning management system for communication and feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses in industrial maintenance, engineering technology, welding, applied process technology, and machine tool technology
  • Maintain office hours for student mentoring and coaching
  • Utilize a learning management system for communication and feedback
  • Teach on any of the college's campuses

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in a related discipline and relevant experience
  • In rare cases, experience can substitute for a degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with intersectional, inclusive instruction and a demonstrated ability to incorporate diverse perspectives into teaching and student engagement
  • Experience and sensitivity working with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds and a commitment to fostering an inclusive work and learning environment
