Impact Dojo is a dynamic organization dedicated to revolutionizing martial arts instruction for children and adults. Founded in 2015, we have experienced significant growth and are seeking a highly motivated instructor to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled martial artist with experience in teaching martial arts skills and techniques to children between the ages of 4 and 18. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in martial arts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with children and their parents.
Responsibilities:
Provide daily martial arts instruction to students with different ability levels.
Demonstrate martial arts techniques, explain the principles behind them, and provide feedback on student progress.
Supervise students, ensuring their safety and well-being, and enforce all martial arts rules and regulations.
Organize and prepare daily lesson plans in a fun and creative manner.
Use effective classroom management skills to lead activities and create a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children.
Martial arts teaching experience (1-5 years minimum) required.
Teaching certification (preferred but not required).
Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required).
Working Conditions:
Be willing to travel and respond to emergency situations. Good physical condition is required to execute all responsibilities associated with this position.
