Current Schedule Options:

5PM to 10PM (Monday to Friday) @ $12.00/hr (Part-Time)

Position Overview:

The Sanitation Specialist will ensure that client facilities are maintained in a clean and hygienic state by executing routine cleaning duties as directed by the supervisor or manager.

It is crucial for the Sanitation Specialist to embody and promote Sizemore's core values of Flexibility, Improvement, Reliability, Safety, and Teamwork in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a push or backpack vacuum for cleaning floors and stairs.
  • Dust and wipe down baseboards unobstructed by furniture.
  • Sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and urinals.
  • Clean and polish surfaces in breakrooms, including countertops and appliances.
  • Restock supplies in restrooms and common areas.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as necessary.
  • Dust and clean office furniture that is not cluttered.
  • Maintain cleanliness of windowsills, windows, and blinds.
  • Ensure janitorial equipment is kept in a clean and functional state.
  • Follow proper labeling and usage protocols for all cleaning chemicals.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; vocational training is a plus.
  • Preferred experience of 6 months or more in a related field.
  • Exhibit professionalism and a commitment to service.
  • Demonstrate patience, enthusiasm, and diplomacy in all interactions.
  • Show initiative and sound judgment in various situations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Capable of working independently and comprehending detailed instructions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Work Environment:

  • Work is conducted in diverse settings.
Tasks may be performed in a single location or across multiple sites, interacting with a variety of personnel with different roles and backgrounds. Most work will take place in a climate-controlled environment.

  • Physical demands include routine walking, standing, bending, and lifting items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operate a backpack vacuum for extended periods.
  • Must be able to stand, squat, and reach as necessary.
