Retail Clerk

Responsibilities

As a Sales Clerk at the Coast Guard Community Services Command, your key responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming customers and greeting them warmly
• Assisting customers with their purchases and answering questions about products
• Maintaining accurate records of sales and customer interactions
• Participating in visual merchandising and promotional activities to drive sales and traffic
• Restocking shelves and maintaining a clean and organized store environment
• Providing feedback and suggestions to improve our services

Requirements

To succeed as a Sales Clerk, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit transactions
• A willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
