Responsibilities
As a Sales Clerk at the Coast Guard Community Services Command, your key responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming customers and greeting them warmly
- Assisting customers with their purchases and answering questions about products
- Maintaining accurate records of sales and customer interactions
- Participating in visual merchandising and promotional activities to drive sales and traffic
- Restocking shelves and maintaining a clean and organized store environment
- Providing feedback and suggestions to improve our services
Requirements
To succeed as a Sales Clerk, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit transactions
- A willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
