Job Summary:

As an Optical Professional at EssilorLuxottica, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible eyewear solutions. Your expertise in optical dispensing and customer service will enable you to create a positive and memorable experience for our customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and set expectations with customers, ensuring a personalized experience.
  • Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses, demonstrating attention to detail.
  • Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear to meet customer needs and standards.
  • Assist team members with complex product needs and prescriptions, showcasing your technical expertise.
  • Utilize technology efficiently, ensuring accurate and thorough results despite time pressure and customer volume.
  • Proactively explore root causes of issues, think forward, and ensure customer satisfaction and expectations are exceeded.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively with competing priorities.
  • Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies.
  • Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized store appearance, taking pride in your work.
  • Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
  • Be resourceful, self-motivated, and committed to continual learning, improvement, and results.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.

Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • State Licensure.
  • Optical dispensing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous customer service and retail experience.
  • Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and teamwork.
  • Knowledge of current store merchandise.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Awareness of current fashion trends.
  • Selling skills, including the ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
  • Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
  • Embracing new technology and change.
