Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Custodial Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine cleaning procedures, operating various cleaning equipment, and adhering to all safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning procedures including but not limited to sweep, mop floors, dust/polish furniture and equipment, clean glass at entrance doors, empty wastebaskets and remove trash, empty outside trash containers
  • Clean restrooms and restock supplies to assure that staff and visitor's needs are met
  • Operate floor machines, burnishers and carpet cleaning equipment
  • Communicate effectively with other staff and visitors, work harmoniously with other members of staff
  • Respond to unexpected changes in work volume, emergency scheduling or staff revisions

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior custodial experience

Physical Demands:

This role requires standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
