Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and understand written instructions
  • Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to operate manual transmissions
  • Previous experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical capability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work seated for extended periods while operating controls
  • Capacity to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting multipoint inspections and reporting additional service needs to service advisors
  • Servicing universal joints, grease fittings, and steering components
  • Checking fluid levels in various automotive systems
  • Maintaining tire pressure and replacing oil and air filters
  • Lubricating moving parts with the appropriate lubricants
  • Draining and refilling engine oil
  • Assessing vehicles for additional repair needs

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
