Job Overview

As a Horizontal Directional Driller at Spectrum, you will play a critical role in delivering high-speed internet services to millions of customers nationwide. Your expertise in horizontal drilling and underground construction will be essential in supporting a major telecommunications infrastructure project.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Vermeer horizontal directional drill rigs and equipment to install underground infrastructure
  • Collaborate with the Horizontal Directional Locator to ensure accurate drilling operations
  • Contribute to the growth of Charter's expanding network and connect new customers to our communications products and services

Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience in horizontal drilling and underground construction
  • Practical working experience with underground construction for both conduit and fiber installation
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA safety certifications, operator certifications, Class A or B CDL, valid driver's license, and clean driving record
  • Five or more years of experience in horizontal drilling and underground construction
