About the Role:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to provide occupational therapy services to students within a school environment. As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping students thrive by enhancing their participation in daily activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing goals related to motor coordination, sensory integration, self-care, and classroom participation.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure cohesive care and effective intervention strategies.
  • Monitor student progress, maintain detailed therapy session documentation, and communicate effectively with the school team and caregivers.
  • Stay updated with the latest best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Possess current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Preferably have experience working with school-aged children.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exhibit the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
