Key Responsibilities- Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and testing of units and components to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Methodology Development: Assist in developing and implementing inspection methodology and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Technical Analysis: Provide technical analysis and recommendations for troubleshooting and repair of units and components.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, testing, and repair activities.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with supervisors, coordinators, and engineers to prioritize and schedule work, and provide updates on inspection and testing activities.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in an industrial environment.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of rotating machinery, mechanical aptitude, and basic knowledge of skilled trades, including welding, metal fabrication, millwright, electrical, and pipe fitting.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to sit for extended periods, manual dexterity, and physical agility to lift up to 50 pounds.
