The role of the host/hostess at Land's End Management Corporation is pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This position requires individuals to greet guests with warmth and efficiency, ensuring they are seated promptly and comfortably. A strong emphasis on customer service and collaboration with the restaurant team is essential to maintain high standards of dining experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Handle incoming calls and manage reservation systems efficiently
  • Work in tandem with servers to address any staffing concerns
  • Ensure timely seating of guests while catering to their specific needs
  • Assist in arranging special table configurations as necessary
  • Observe the dining area and report any maintenance issues to management
  • Manage guest reservations and coordinate with kitchen staff
  • Uphold service excellence and support team members as required
  • Efficiently process To-Go orders

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Keep the host station and entryway tidy and inviting
  • Adjust dining room staffing based on guest volume
  • Ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the dining space
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Experience in fast-paced dining environments is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
