Medical Records Central Supply Clerk

The Plaza at Lubbock in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Medical Records Central Supply Clerk to provide clerical and administrative support to the nursing staff.

This role is responsible for maintaining organized medical records and files, establishing and maintaining supplies inventories, and preparing correspondence, reports, and other documentation for the nursing department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains established medical record files
  • Files resident information on individual charts
  • Establishes and maintains supplies inventories
  • Ability to work occasional weekends as manager on duty
  • Receives and distributes nursing supplies
  • Monitors medical and form inventories to assure adequate supply levels
  • Prepares correspondence, reports, and other documentation for nursing department
  • May prepare and/or submit forms and documentation to and/or from physicians

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Previous medical record experience is required
  • Long Term Care industry experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology
  • LVN (Preferred)
  • Must have CNA Certification or higher
