We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Barback to join our team at Emerald Queen Casino & Hotel. As a Barback, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bars, providing exceptional guest service, and supporting our bartenders in their daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Bartenders: Provide relief assistance to bartenders when needed, ensuring that our guests receive prompt and attentive service.
- Stock and Maintain: Stock beer, wine, liquor, mixers, ice, and dry goods, and assist in keeping the bar area clean and presentable at all times.
- Guest Service: Provide superior guest service while interacting with guests on the casino floor, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Additional Duties: Perform additional job duties as assigned by the department manager, including but not limited to, assisting with events and promotions.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience: Must have one year of food and beverage experience.
- Skills: Must have the ability to work well with guests and co-workers, possess good communication skills, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours, have the mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis, and be able to tolerate a smoke-filled environment.
- License: Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIB Gaming License.
- Availability: Must be able to work all scheduled shifts, including day, swing, graveyard, and holidays.
