About the RoleThis full-time position involves providing exceptional care and support to adults in a medical adult day care setting. As an adult care specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the overall well-being of our participants.
Key Responsibilities- Assist participants with personal care, including dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Help with the use of special aids and prevent accidents.
- Supervise and engage participants in activities of daily living.
- Provide assistance with mealtime and feeding as needed.
- Encourage activity involvement and provide individualized activities as required.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience working with adults in a healthcare or social service setting.
- Ability to read and write.
- Dependable transportation.
$45,000 - $60,000 per annum based on experience.
