Job Description

To maintain the dish area, equipment, and chemicals, you will ensure clean and sanitized kitchen utensils and service ware for speedy and efficient service to our guests. Your specific responsibilities include:

• Washing pots, pans, and other cooking equipment by hand while following Roper Ware washing techniques.
• Scraping food from dirty dishes and placing them in dish racks.
• Sorting and removing trash and garbage to the dumpster.
• Sorting and stocking clean glassware, utensils, and dishware.
• Ensuring the work area and equipment stay clean throughout the shift.
• Changing dish machine chemicals, water, and three-compartment sinks as needed.
• Inspecting and verifying machine operation and chemical levels throughout the workday.
• Cleaning various work areas (e.g., tables, walls, refrigerators, floor) throughout a shift.
• Working closely with BOH and FOH Team Members in a high-paced environment while performing time-restricted tasks.
• Operating the cleaning caddy every shift.
• Performing cleaner/janitor functions, including full cleaning of BOH, FOH, Bar, and Restroom areas prior to or after hours of operations.
• May be cross-trained into other BOH positions.
• Other functions as assigned by management.
