Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team at Parkland USA. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck and trailer, conducting pre-trip safety inspections, and delivering fuel to customers in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-trip safety inspections of the truck and trailer, ensuring all safety requirements are met.
  • Check oil and fuel levels before starting the truck and after use.
  • Fuel the vehicle after use and obtain fuel from the terminal as needed.
  • Deliver fuel to customers in a timely manner, ensuring all loads are properly dropped in the correct underground tank.
  • Stick the tanks prior to and after delivery of fuel, maintaining outside hoses while making delivery.
  • Complete daily logs and clean the cab of the truck daily.
  • Attend Transport Driver safety meetings and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
  • 21+ years of age
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions
  • Basic math skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Hazmat/Hazwoper certification (training will be provided if needed)
Physical Demands

The CDL Driver position requires regular sitting, standing, kneeling, stooping, bending, climbing stairs and ladders, walking, talking, and hearing. The position also requires the ability to lift and/or move items up to 175 pounds several times a day.

The job requires close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision in both night and day conditions. Tasks are performed in all areas inside and outside of the store and can include exposure to extreme temperatures, vapors/fumes, high humidity, and noise for extended periods of time.

The CDL Driver must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Physical.
