Overview: As a Data Science Team Lead at HP Development Company, L.P., you will be responsible for leading a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers to develop AI/ML solutions that meet business objectives. You will oversee the development of machine learning models, provide technical guidance, and mentor team members.

About the Job:

  • This role is responsible for overseeing a team of machine learning engineers and data scientists, guiding the development of machine learning models, and aligning them with business goals.
  • The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience in computer programming languages, machine learning, algorithms, statistical methods, or a related field.
  • This role requires excellent communication skills, technical guidance, and mentorship to team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct and ongoing leadership for a team of individual contributors that design, deploy, maintain, and monitor machine learning models, pipelines, and systems.
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand use cases, user experience requirements, and goals.
  • Oversees end-to-end machine learning model lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing to model selection and optimization, to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

Salary and Benefits:

  • We offer an estimated salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 per year, based on location and experience.

Requirements:

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Experience deploying Deep Learning Neural Network Models, developing Generative AI solutions, and Agile Methodology.
