Recovery Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Coach to join our team at WVU Medicine. As a Recovery Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with substance use disorders in their recovery journey.

• Work closely with patients to identify their treatment needs and develop individualized recovery plans.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to patients, including regular check-ins and progress monitoring.
• Link patients to available resources, including treatment services, support groups, and community resources.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate records and reports to track patient progress and outcomes.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of state or nationally recognized Peer Recovery Support Specialist Certification training.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
