We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for leading a team of CT Technologists and ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of CT Technologists and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and satisfaction.
- Operate and maintain CT scanners, pressure injectors, resuscitation equipment, laser filmers, and teleradiology systems.
- Prepare, transfer, and position patients for exams, ensuring modesty and safety.
- Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exams, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
- Obtain high-quality CT images, ensuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation.
- Remain proficient in executing software protocols and stay up-to-date with changes in the field through in-service study, attending courses or seminars as necessary.
- Check the operation of equipment, maintain cleanliness of tables/equipment, and keep rooms stocked with linens and necessary supplies.
- Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Minimum of 1-3 years current/recent experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 50 lbs.
