Job Summary
TotalMed is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team. As a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions in a high-acuity CVICU setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' cardiovascular status, monitor cardiac rhythms, and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform advanced cardiac monitoring and interventions, including hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
- Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, treatment options, and post-discharge care strategies to promote recovery and prevent complications.
Requirements
- Current RN license
- BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
- 2 years of recent Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing experience.
- Strong communication and adaptability skills.
